Alan C. Hoffman is an attorney licensed
to practice law in Illinois and Florida. He is admitted to practice before
the U.S. Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the Florida Supreme
Court as well as all the local jurisdictions in Illinois and Florida. He is
also admitted to the practice of law before various United States Courts
including the Northern District of Illinois and the 7th Circuit
Court of Appeals amongst others. Mr. Hoffman is Federal Trial Bar certified
by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Mr. Hoffman has spoken on Medical-Legal
subjects around the world in countries including Australia, Czech Republic,
France, Israel, Republic of South Africa, and the United States. Mr. Hoffman has been
published in numerous publications in Canada, Germany and the United States.
Mr. Hoffman has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Legal
Medicine for over 25 years.
Mr. Hoffman has been a Professor of Law
at Lewis University College of Law, Northern Illinois University College of
Law and Loyola University College of Law where he taught in the Health Law
Institute. Mr. Hoffman has taught subjects such as Medical Malpractice,
Trial Advocacy and Law and Psychiatry.
Mr. Hoffman has been and currently is a judge for the National Health Law
Moot Court Competition held annually at Southern Illinois University School of
Law. Mr. Hoffman is currently a judge for the Moot Court competition
at the John Marshal Law School in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Hoffman devotes his private
practice of law to representing innocent victims and their families.
